    Psyched About Whey

    A couple years ago, I noticed my husband was making a protein shake using milk and a big-ol' jug of some sort of flashy "protein powder" that he likely spent a small fortune on. I grabbed this jug-in-question and started reading the ingredients. "Do not drink this." I said. "You don't need this. Lets find something better." And so began the search.

    Superwhey Protein Shake

    (Makes 2 servings)

    Ingredients:

    1/2 cup 1% milk (or milk substitute of your choosing)

    1 chopped banana

    1/2 cup chopped strawberries

    1/2 cup non-fat organic yogurt

    1 packet (30g) Tera's Whey Organic Whey Protein - Bourbon Vanilla

    (or 1 scoop from canister)

    1 tbsp chia seeds

    Handful of ice cubes

    Blend all ingredients together for about 15 seconds, and voila!
